Hi, I'm Arjun Patel, and yes, I’m named after the legendary archer Arjuna from the epic scripture of the Mahabharata! Growing up with a name tied to such a rich history sparked my curiosity about cultures and the human experience. Over time, I have even found myself drawn to historical fiction books where I also noticed the connections authors make between ancient traditions and modern behaviors. Though I’m still learning, I’m eager to explore how cultural, linguistic, and biological anthropology can become more central to the way I understand the world.
I hope to share my journey of discovery with others, connecting anthropology to everyday activities like bird watching, cooking, and even sewing. These hobbies, along with my love for board games, like Diplomacy, have shaped my view of human interactions, past and present. Join me as I dive deeper into this fascinating subject and discover how anthropology touches so many aspects of our daily lives from bioethics to sustainability.

A Life of Learning Across Disciplines
This blend of analytical and creative pursuits continues to inform how I work, write, and learn by bridging logic with language, structure with soul.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition across a wide range of fields from mathematics and chess to languages, music, and the arts. Whether it was solving complex problems, mastering Latin and Gujarati, or expressing creativity through trumpet and poetry, each award reflects a different way of thinking, feeling, and connecting with the world. These experiences have shaped not just my skillset, but the way I approach challenges with curiosity, discipline, and a love for patterns, stories, and sound.
